Pop star and beauty queen Angela will represent Ukraine at the Venice Film Festival
Ukrainian artists continue to conquer international markets. Singer, beauty queen, and public figure Angela will be a star guest at one of the most prestigious and large-scale festivals in the world — the Venice International Film Festival.
The event will take place from August 28 to September 7, gathering the brightest stars of cinema and music from around the world. This year, Ukrainian filmmakers are not represented in the main competition program, but representatives of our country will still be present at the events within the competition. The star ambassador of Ukraine is pop star, international beauty queen, and public figure Angela, who will once again remind the elite community about the problems facing our country.
“I received incredible news today. I have been invited to one of the grandest Gala evenings in the world. As part of the 81st Venice Film Festival, the amfAR Gala Dinner will take place in Venice on September 1, 2024. This is a new step for me and my creativity! I am very happy!” the singer wrote on her Instagram profile.
Participating in an event within the Venice Film Festival is not the only significant event in the star’s life. On August 28, Angela will perform at a large-scale charity event in Kyiv — the Nova Lounge Evening. The concert will take place on August 28 at one of Kyiv’s most enchanting locations — the terrace of the Gulliver shopping center.
The main goal of the event is to help the patients of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Center, which the star has supported for many years: “What our children experience every day, in every corner of the country, is horrific. We must not forget that what is happening is not normal, even though we have all adapted to the conditions of constant danger. Hundreds of thousands of children in our country need quality medical and psychological assistance, which neither the state nor international institutions can provide. This cause is in our hands,” the artist stated.
In addition, Angela is preparing to release a new single titled “Troianda” (“Rose”), which will be performed for the first time at the charity event and will enter wide rotation in the fall.
