Detroit, MI – Producers Avery Sims and Craig “Mr. Groove” Lane felt the need to design a group to reintroduce and deliver the Funk, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop and Rock sound to hungry music lovers around the world. DEF Machine features the experience of old and new school talents and showcases the finest new stars of the future. This Machine is working to take music listeners to a new level by bringing us back to a place where music and lyrics felt good and gave us timeless memories.

Diggidy rocks the mic like no other while Avery Sims slaps on his bass. Craig “Mr. Groove Lane gets extra funky on bass synth and the keys, Mario Perry locks in the beat on drums and Joe Mazzola takes the lead on guitar. DEF Machine is a powerful force of seasoned producers, musicians, writers, singers and rappers. This well-oiled Machine is turned on and unstoppable.

In 2015 they dropped “Slam Dance” and last year they followed up with “Get Hygh” and the new single and video titled “Girl For Me” has just been released June 2017. Everyone can listen, hear and feel the new vibrations of DEF MACHINE’S sound. With multiple levels of influences from all genres DM will bring back what you’ve been missing in the music.
